Enabling Re-sizable bar in IL-2 with 'Nvidia Profile Inspector'

Has anyone tried to enable re-sizable bar with Nvidia Profile Inspector? I play in VR so I need all the performance I can get. Even if it's just 1% faster.

Is it dangerous to enable on games that Nvidia hasn't implemented it on?

I just learned about this yesterday and only 20 games have it officially enabled AFAIK. The support from Nvidia seems very lacking as some games do see improved performance, even though it isn't officially supported by Nvidia.

There's a thread somewhere on the forum regarding this written about the time when the feature was fully implemented by m/b vendors and gpu drivers. Common verdict at the time was that it was detrimental to performance in IL2 when force-enabled.
