Loadouts : "Blue" and "Orange" Ammos

Can you confirm that "blue" ammos in the loadout page are AP and orange are "HE" ?

Yes blue is AP orange is HE in game.

You can see this for your self if you pick P-39, by default it has 37mm with HE only its shown as orange, and if you select Special 37mm Gun Ammo Load modification it will have AP only and it will say to you: Additional loadout variant for M4 37mm gun: armour piercing (AP) (Lend-Leasing of this type of rounds was limited), and when you select it its blue. Also extracted game files confirm this.

At some point we should have more personalized ammo belts ... IMHO

IT -Incendiary Tracer Shell

APHE - Armor piecing high explosive

HEI - High explosive incendiary shell (MinengeschoB)

API - Armor piercing incendiary

Only if the pilot has to manually link every belt before each mission...

 

Its an incredibly dumb and hilariously unrealistic feature in CloD and it'd be just as ridiculous here. Removing tracers is one thing, deciding "Oh today I feel like switching out every third round for an HEI and every fifth round for an APIT" Is another.
