B-26 crew appears out of airplane when at a certain distance.

Flew a mission yesterday when I was formation flying with a B-26 when suddenly, when I was increasingly at more distance from the plane, the crew appears standing on and under the airplane. When I closed back in, one by one the crew disappeared again. It also seemed to affect FPS somewhat when the crew was "out".

 

The first screenshot shows the crew out (hard to see because of low resolution VR screenshot, but you can see some dots on the airplane, the second screenshot shows them in again.
