moustache Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 (edited) Good morning all I have some problems with the spatialization of the sound (or 3D sound) in game. I use the "windows sonic for headphone" function, but there are some shortcomings, such as differentiating a sound from the front and from behind, in addition to some bug related to the angle of view in which I look (a bug like lighting bugs)... (it can change completely or nothing like the image of this lighting problem) anyone know a good software to improve the spatialization of the sound? thanks ah, and another question: is the purchase of a 3d sound headset relevant? does it really make a difference (because at the price they are...)? ShampooX Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Hello Mous - miss you on Finnish bro - come back! Anyway two suggestions: 1.) go back in a double check your windows spatial sound settings and make sure they are set to 'speaker": sometimes they change back on their own. 2.) I use JBL Headphones and the new "Quantum" update is amazing for surround sound. I highly recommend them. It's important to have headphones that are already set up for 360 inputs. Good luck 1

You Know Moustache there is a free 3D software which I am using and is quite good? It's called FX Sounds. It used to be payable with a free demo version. Recently they decided to make it free and unrestricted simply asking for a voluntary donation. Here's the link: FxSound Is Now Completely Free and Unrestricted 1
