Any word on whether there will be more than one layer of clouds?

I'm told Truesky is capable of this, whether it is implemented on release, that will be for TFS to say.

Will any of these improvements improve the cloud patterns in DWT. So far all I seem to see are little cotton puffs that serve to interrupt the stretches of sand that stretch out to the horizon. Even a dust storm siroccowould make it more interesting.I for one would welcome some changes.Having said that I do look forward to the changes this will bring, but must say in general the clouds we already have over the Channel look pretty good!

Starry night.

This was posted on the Steam forums. The image shows how dark Truesky can be but with radiant stars in the sky. The second image I have lightened in Photoshop to bring out some detail of the aircraft and the night sky.

So... can you edit that to do infrared? Also, some spectroscopy? The first JWST dataset is 46TB and I don't have the hard drive space and I'm going into deep space withdrawal.

WIP , but def imo a lot nicer than currently in game.

Make sure when you click an image you allow the image time to load properly

Im sure once we get the final version ingame it will be very nice.

They look to me to be very promising. I'm excited at what opportunities the clouds may bring for SoW and mission variety.

I know in the day, there tended to be an endless clear blue summer sky in MP - Do the clouds (or will the clouds) now sync online for clients?
