II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 I don't think I can disagree more about landing her. She is very straight forward to put on the ground. Full flaps, keep her straight with the pedals, full back on stick after touchdown and course correct with brakes as necessary. I've only had one ground loop with her in dozens of landings. Takeoffs can be a bit tricky but are quite manageable if you stay ahead of her on the pedals. 1
Buzzguinnog Posted June 16, 2022 Author Posted June 16, 2022 I'm sure you are right. I completely misjudged the landing as I had never landed this plane before. It is a testament to its ruggedness and manoeuvrability that I even survived that landing. I reckon at least three miles on final next time!
