I am experiencing game crash when turning on EVGA Precision X1 OSD. I have looked around and can't find any references to this particular problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I found Precision X1 to be a pain to use due to the lack of common sense instructions and info on the web, plus setting up an undervolt curve was a an exercise in frustration, very time consuming. I switched to MSI Afterburner, works great and is pretty easy to use and there is a lot of how to vids out there to help - with no crashes!

I also do complete "super" clean installs of my Nvidia drivers these days so I don't have all the Nvidia bloatware running in the background which is especially helpful in MSFS 2020.

I know this doesn't help you much if you are intent on using Precision X1, but I would uninstall it and just move on - save yourself the time and effort.

Thanks for the input Props. I always use DDU and do a custom install on on the drivers. I am familiar with Afterburner also and have experience zero problems with it. I was just trying to preserve custom fan profiles using X1, but I guess that is not in the cards. I will be switching back to Afterburner pronto. Thanks again

Sure thing. I tried using X1's fan control too and found it lacking. I am currently looking at a free program called Fancontrol as it seems to put all fan stuff into one easy to use package.

I am using my ASUS BIOS to control case and CPU fans with Afterburner to control GPU fans, which works fine, but having everything in one place with the options this little program provides looks pretty appealing. I just have to try it out.
