Flag settings always default to USSR

Rheinland map, USA airfield set ..... Whatever other country chosen, it's always showing the USSR flag.

A bug or is this a teaser for us non Russians ??

I guess that is still a 'feature' from the first maps (BoS...) where you had only 2 nations... russia (red) and germany (blue)

Later some other nations were implemented (GB, USA, Italy), but the Flags were never updated...

 

So you get either a 'german' flag (blue) or a 'russian' flag (red)...

The German i selected also posted the USSR flag ... can it be airfield related, the airfield was USA ...

I have recently created an Allied v Axis map and set the sides to be Central Powers ("captured by side 4") for Axis and Entente for Allies ("captured by side 3", that gives a Blue flag and Green flag.

You can define that Axis = Central Powers and Allied = Entente in the mission editor.

 

There is a mod to replace the Russian flag with US stars and Stripes if you want, but I quite like the Blue v Green (I acknowledge that some people may be colour blind and this is a bad combination for them). Perhaps the MCU icons could be used to appear on the map once a flag is captured, circle for allied triangle for axis to get round this?

 

I also just found out that the speed for the flag going up and down can go as high as 10! Every day a school day

I also wish there were more colors available fort the Linked Entry countries other than Axis and Allied.

Only white, just RED and BLUE ain't enough ... Separate colors for all different countries ? Selectable friend and foe could be a nice feature.
