Report on 3D model errors.

Hi everyone !

I think a thread to gather any 3D model error in our favourite flight sim is missing.

 

Here I start with the Ju 87 D-3.

The error is on the machine gun fairings:

 

The gun should be completely covered. Here we have the rendition of B and very early D-1 machine gun.

Here is how it should look:

 

 

 

It also seems that siren's support wasn't totally deleted on D-3 models.

I need to dig a little more.

Next is the Hawker Typhoon.

 

The Napier momentum air filter isn't correctly modeled.

Ingame the dome is too large and could have a better shape. Little details like screws are also missing.

I'm not saying a thread like this isn't useful but I think the Stuka 'error' you mentioned needs a bit more research. Doing a search engine search using 'stuka wing guns' and having a mooch through the images shows pictures of B1s, D1s and R2s using the in game gun covering as well as examples of what you show plus other variations. I don't think it's a model error and isn't a case of 'should look like this', I think it's maybe more a case of 'This looks cool, could we have it as an option please?'.

It looks like a thread for bug reports.
