Jaws2002 Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 I moved and I have a few more days without internet. I tried to play offline, but it keeps asking for the latest patch. (#10005: Please update your game:new version available) I have internet on the phone, but it's with a US carrier and can't do mobile Hotspot, while I'm on roaming in Canada. Anyone managed to find a way to play offline? This is the standalone version, not steam. Thx.
Jaws2002 Posted June 7, 2022 Author Posted June 7, 2022 That's how I tried to play offline, but it keeps asking about the latest patch.
firdimigdi Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Don't connect at all and it won't know about the patch or maybe if you edit your data\autoplay.cfg file and set: &enabled=1 // =1: turn on the autologin &loginOffline=1 // login mode, =0: online, =1: offline &login=<your email address> &password=<your password> Not sure if the latter causes it to by-pass the update check. 1

Thank you Firdimigdi. I tried it and it didn't work. I did try to start the game with the usual exe once, out of habit, and that's why it knows there's a new patch. I deleted the entries for the last patch from the "update" folder but there are probably other places where there are entries from the log in attempt. Two more days I'll be OK. Even though it sux having few days off and not being able to get my fix. ? 2
R33GZ Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 For what it's worth, you can play offline, but not once your game has version checked with the master server. Once it has checked and found your software is out of date you are committed to the update. To avoid this, don't connect online - ever, use the offline option only and you will be fine. Now that you're hooked back up you won't have to worry though ?
