IckyATLAS Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 The simulation of the dust emitted either by vehicles or plane propellers does not seem to be optimal. When on dirt runways then there is no problem a lot of dust may be simulated. Same for snow runways where the dust is snow particles that are whytish. But on hard runways like the Marsden Mat types with pierced steel parts, or clean concrete slabs, the amount should be very very little but it is identical to a dirt runway. Regarding vehicles I often noted that the dust emitted could glow like luminescent particles. You would then have a vehicle and the dust emitted from the wheels is luminescent. Depending on the lighting there are probably differences but here the effect is much too strong and makes it irreal. Maybe it is a limitation of the graphic engine related to particle effects.
