#10005: Please update your game: new version available

This error message prevents me from playing the game offline.

I am at sea at the moment and don't have a good internet connection to update the game.
The patch of 14.5Gb is just way too much.

Does anyone have any idea how I can play IL-2offline without doing the update of 14.5Gb ?

I have the same  issue. I just moved and don't have internet hooked up yet, so the offline doesn't work.
