As a German citizen myself I can frankly ensure you that this is basically what every person over here looks like, more or less.

My mother was nowhere near that ugly .  Maybe she changed after she moved to the US.  Could be the water.

It's what happens to the pilot of the Hs-129 after he fires a few rounds off from one of the larger calibre weapons.

 

The pilot's face is awfully close to the inside of that windscreen once the recoil from the big cannon starts kicking in!
