Navigator should do something

Since some planes have a navigator (like the Mosquito) can he actually do something? Maybe he could keep you updated on your position like where you roughly are on the map when you ask him or something

Well, he could function as the photographer on recon missions….need camera option and user interface for that.  He could also function as the bombardier with similar options and user interface……

As discussed before, it would be nice if crewed aircraft's personnel could give bandit reports, position updates...etc

I hope that one day we get more options for navigation in general, not only in planes with a dedicated navigator position.

Control over course setters, asking a Morse signal, choosing what base to get guided to by radio compasses,...

I know it's early in our relationship but he's the only man I'd care to see ducking.

I'd also love to see the Navigator as a playable position in MP/CoOp even if it is only to sit there with nothing to do. I often jump into on of my squad mates gunner potions just for the ride along after I've been shot down. Being able to jump into the Mesquito and help navigate or keep a lookout in MP seems like it would be easy enough to implement. Might be alone here but I'd love to hang out next to my buddies on a Mossie raid.
