You have to finesse turning it off though, somewhere on the downstroke about half-way down the windscreen. If not the blade will end up somewhere in the pilot's line of sight. The question I have though, is in the specs it says with 150 grade fuel the supercharger must be manually switched at 3500' (feet). Does that seem AWFULLY low? Perhaps 3500 meters is what they mean, but just didn't convert to feet? The Merlin in the Spit 14 is manually switched at 14,500', and even the Hurri at 13K. Other Spits are at least 9500', very similar engine. 3500m is about 11,500' which would make more sense. 3500ft is correct, and it works like that in game. from here http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/mosquito/hx809.pdf on 25lbs you can see that switch is best to do at ~3500ft, and in game also you get better performance when you switch at same alt. From game test, you can see sup changes are at same alts as on real world tests for 18lbs and 25lbs. Edited June 6, 2022 by CountZero 2

jollyjack Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 (edited) PS there are two Mosquito plane MCUs to select from in the ME: mosquitofbmkvis2.mgm, and mosquitofbmkvis2-c.mgm. The -c doesn't seem to load anything. What's up? Selecting the -c.mgm gives this error: Edited June 7, 2022 by jollyjack
reesuski Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 (edited) I've read (looking for the pilot anecdote) that 175 mph 174 knots so 200 mph as you noted, was the upper limit for flaps 15-20 degrees. teatv downloadhellodear.in Edited June 8, 2022 by reesuski

Almost certainly worth the wait, the Arado can be thrown in the bin now. ? My only criticism is the navigator position; it doesn't function as an AI with positional call outs but it also cannot be taken over by a second player for multiplayer purposes, he is the most useless addition to any aircraft in this simulator so far. It is unfortunate for how much time we will be spending together in the future, and how close we are sitting. I would rather he was simply removed outright if neither of these functionalities are made available. Very much agree that the second crew member is currently a waste of time and it is a great shame that the developers have not enabled him to contribute to the mission as AI. Enabling the second crew member as AI to call out bandits and communicate in other ways too would help the aircraft perform more in line with historical performance and be epic for immersion. Allowing a human player to take up the second crew position would also be of benefit. The potential of the Mosquito is currently being held back due to the lack of functionality of the second crew position. I very much hope that the developers have plans to expand the scope of the second crew position ready for the Normandy map release. Happy landings, Talisman 8

BCI-Nazgul Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 This guy that sits umcomfortably close to me and doesn't talk at all makes me nervous. Shouldn't he at least call out bandits? Also, when he died he simply disappeared from the plane after a while. I figure somehow I was able to toss his body out of the plane to save weight. "Sorry Mate, out you go. "

Not having access to your data, I just though based on empirical observations that 3500' seemed awfully low, and that the rest of the Merlin-equipped planes all switch at significantly higher altitudes, all around 3500 meters, hence my thought it might have been a typo. However, as seen above, 3500' is the correct altitude, many thanks for clearing this up for me 07
Gingerwelsh Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 (edited) In game 18 lb supercharger changes at 8000' when in auto. RL mk VI manual states, 12,500' for Mk 25 engine. Mk 6 manual states 7000'. I guess things were changed with experience. 25 lb can be changed at any altitude. 3500 looks best from chart. Edited June 9, 2022 by Gingerwelsh

[LeLv34]Lykurgos88 Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 Hi! I'm trying to have a "clean bomb configuration" with the Mosquito, but everytime I select 2x 250 OR 2x 500 lb bombs, my bomb bay remains empty and those bombs are put on wings for some inexplicable reason. Is there a way to force those bombs in the bomb bay and not on the wings? It's really frustrating.
