It's available now. Didn't they email you the special code?

From what I remember, it is some days after the official release.

Updates generally become available on Steam more-or-less simultaneously with their availability from the official site. I haven't ever seen an update where it took more than half an hour or so, let alone "some days" ;)

Much of BoN is already available, both on and off Steam. If your question is when the final two planes and the map will be released, popular answers include "when it's ready" and "in two weeks" (which is an in-joke within the community and doesn't actually mean two weeks). You're unlikely to find any better answers.

For a little added clarity. IL-2 releases titles on Steam only after they have been completed and are released as a finished product (although the series is always improving). Battle of Normandy is getting close to this point but its not there yet.

You can purchase Battle of Normandy through the website and gain access to the early access content. You'll need to make sure that your Steam and IL-2 accounts are linked.

We are not talking about updates, but about the possibility to purchase BON through Steam. For more info, read Shamrock's post.

Regarding the point in time: They originally aimed for a release this month - however considering current events a delay is to be expected. My personal guess would be July or even August.

I got an invite to the Beta through my Tinder account.

Ah, I see. It wasn't 100% clear from the OP, but I think you're correct.

The second part of my answer is still valid though. Nobody really knows when it'll be released ;)

Yes, that is correct. There still is some hope, it might be any time soon, as Jason wrote in a post, they were still pretty good in the overall timeframe. So it might be end of this, or next month. Noone knows how far they are with the map, the career mode, the two missing aircrafts and the V1.

Maybe they are ready and think, ahh, no, they can wait:biggrin:

Lol. I have some sympathy with this reply; it was a simple, reasonable question that elicited several replies only two of which were on point and accurate.

S! PeaceO.?

Well, of the 13 replies he got, I'd say 9 were serious and 4 weren't. I'd say that's a pretty decent score, especially for a topic that nobody really knows the answer to.

The answer is when Normandy is mature enough to release. Its getting close, but not quite ready yet. It's coming this Summer.

Sorry Peace,

I appreciate the sentiment but it is the internets and we try to run a clean ship here.

Conversely, I am a little ashamed this crowd didn't put up more than one, "Two Weeks Be Sure."
