RNAS10_Mitchell Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Maybe you have other programs running in the background eating up CPU resources?
Patricks Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Here I thought by the title he was talking about the AI being able to see through them...
=IRFC=Gascan Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Have you asked in the VR sub-forum, in the Hardware and Peripherals area? There are a lot of very knowledgeable people there, and I'm sure your problems aren't specific to the Flying Circus planes. The more pixels you try to render, the more your machine will struggle. Depending on the resolution of the headset, some people actually run less than 100% supersampling to maintain the framerate, especially the Reverb G2 and others with very high resolution. I run 100% with a Valve Index, a 3080, and a I7-9700K running at 5.0GHz, and I can maintain 80hz with only occasional dips into reprojection with clouds set to high. Take a look at some of the other settings as well. There are a few threads in the VR forum about which settings have the biggest effect on performance. 1
