Short beginner question concerning mods / changing aircraft performence?

Hi,

Just a small question by a beginner in respect of mods:

Is it possible to create a simple mod (only configuration text files) to simulate a Spitfire MKIIb or MKIb by adding some air drag or reducing the engine power of the MKVb?

I would like to know this also. The P-38 is why to slow and dose not have the top speed like it dose in real life. 

The P-38 needs to be at lest 150 MPH faster to make it more to real life.

The flight model parameters can't be modded.
