Q: is there no damage model for this block: industrial_object_zavodkorpys70m.mgm, as there is for vl_factory.mgm ??

A: Yes, there is a damage model for that object

Funny, i set it up exactly as vl_factory, fire effect starts OK, also damage settings not set, but the darn industrial_object_zavodkorpys70m seems indestructible ... (command attack aimed for the same bombers).

But you are right, many big buildings, churches, railway stations, palaces do not have a damage model. You bomb them, in the middle of smoke and fire they will always look pristine as new. Hope this will change one day.

By the way there is a simple way to do that is just to use the same damage model like a pile of charred rubble that could be used as standard for those complex buildings models where to do each damage model variation is too much work.

If you attack such a building with machine guns then nothing happens but if you bomb it then you get the pile of rubble. Simple and good enough. Surely much better than nothing.
