Edtrackers yaw axis no longer working

My Edtracker no longer tracks the yaw movement properly. This is in Edtracker program and therefore in IL2 too. Slowly turning Edtracker is not detected at all. Faster turns are registered but centering is usually off. Roll and pitch are working fine.

 

Tried different usb ports and calibrating multiple times but no help there. Violent shaking was also useless. Thought about giving it a couple of good whacks with a hammer.

 

Is there anything that could be done? Or has this unit come to its end?
