Nausea from shaking camera in VR

Is there any way to turn off the head/camera shake in vr in tanks?  Driving around makes me extremely motion sick, making the game unplayable.  

There's an option for camera shake in the settings, but it doesn't appear to have any effect.

IRL, your brain, muscles, and senses in your ear employ a bit of automatic stabilization, so that your vision isn't shaking around as much, and the horizon doesn't appear to be bouncing.  This doesn't work that way in VR.  Is there any way to make the camera motion smooth?  Let the tank bounce around me while my head stays still?

With non VR and planes: asked this about bombing and general shakes; my monitor almost fall off the table. Seems not possible ..
