The object files have some objects of type "Block".  Other, newer ones, are designated as "Ground" objects.  Anybody know why and what the difference might be?

I think I can answer - no script for "Ground".  With that in mind, can anybody tell me what the script for "Block" actually does?  Control damage diisplay?

Besides the fact that "Ground" objects cannot be damaged, their altitude can be adjusted.

Now how can you damage a building (also called block)? Example beauxartsdelille.mgm

Buildings have scripts associated with them that define levels of destruction.  At each level the graphics and 3d model change.

Experimented, damage 0.5 set, no damage ..... must one respawn the building with something like 0.1 set?

Don't think blocks can be spawned anyway ... or use a damage MCU?

Yes it is designed to use as scenery objects that you can position in the terrain. Like a cliff or very large harbour objects. I think it was first introduced with the RoF Channel map.
