Hi does the HTC vive work ok with IL2?

Hi there are few videos on youtube about the htc vive and IL2 and a few old posts on reddit on the subject, do any of you use the vive without any issues?

No the VR forum is not dead. Likely not a lot of original Vive users any longer as newer devices came out and folks moved on to them. But yes the original Vive works with IL-2 via Steam VR as most VR headsets do. I don't think I have seen a PC-VR headset that would not work with IL-2.

I myself never had the original Vive but there was a time there were a few in here. I did run my previous headset - the Vive Pro 2 just fine with IL-2.

I have used original Rift, Rift S, Quest via Link, Index, HP Reverb G2, Vive Pro 2 and now the Aero. Have used them all extensively with IL-2 with no issues.

 

Your results with it however are also system dependent on your hardware, which is why that question was asked.
