Can trucks and vehicles drive across the pontoon bridges?

I've just never actually seen machines traversing those large pontoon bridges myself so I thought I'd ask. Can machines be made to cross rivers with those pontoons in the game at this stage?

They most certainly can.  I have a pontoon bridge across the Rhine in one of my missions.  Have driven Shermans and the Gaz truck across it many times.

I've had tanks over them before - hell of a messing around with waypoints though !

Figured out once to put a waypoint at the start of such an added bridge, and set direction and speed.
