I have a burning desire to make some Gothas 'activate' into the game with some damage.

Returning home from a mission, they've shot their bolts - and it would be nice to have some of them looking a bit roughed up.. smoking perhaps !

I've used a post-spwan timer to command minor and major damage to planes, but not seeing much effect.

Are there any other options for achieving this ?

Cheers !

It is very hard to achieve. You may add minor damage several times, perhaps 5 times, and the the wings will crack or something structural will break, but no visible engine damage like smoking engine sorry.

Thanks Hanu, I never thought of using the commands multiple times.

I'll try a few things out - see what happens.

Also be aware that unless something has changed recently, the damage will apply to all planes in the flight. I've tried to make abort missions before where 1 plane is damaged and returns home, and it does not work.

Correct in a flight damage applies to all the planes at once. So if you destroy a plane (Damage Complete) all the flight will explode.

And if you want to damage planes in the players flight, it won't work and nothing will happen.

It is a pity because the management of the flight is well made and could very well accept to have one plane destroyed and it will reorganize the flight say if the leader is out.

One plane in a flight can be damaged or destroyed by the enemy but not by a Damage MCU. WHY? no reason for that. Bad implementation.
