I couldn't find any existing topics on this, so here we go!

 

It runs beautifully at around 60 fps with mostly medium settings, and a big furball in quick missions. I'm sure more tweaking can be done. 
 

there's plenty of room for at least the controls you need for the WWI birds, although you'll run short for the WWII stuff. It has the regular gamepad controls, plus four extra bumpers on the back, and the two trackpads. 
 

The trackpad also works great as a mouse, but it does get finicky in the key mapping menu where some very fine mouse controls are needed. Setting up the controls took me a good hour for the WWI planes. 
 

flying is annoying with gamepad controls, but I feel it also just needs a lot of practice to get the motor skills and coordination. I put the rudder on the triggers, the stick and blipswitch on the left stick, and view and quickzoom on the right stick. 
 

I also tried Rise of Flight, and it actually struggled to hit 30 fps at all.
