Changing forum name

I was recently told that the in game names will probably be changed to our forum names, but not only is the name I have now a typo from signing up too fast, but its also not the name I would like to go by in game. 

Given that the game names will be the forum names, is there a way I can change my forum name?

Yes but at a later date. Don't remember if it will be at release or later. It was addressed a few months ago. Try the search function. It should pop up.

I searched and all I found was "It will be possible to change your nickname in the future. We plan to merge temporary ingame nicknames with forum names."

 

I was never able to find anything relating to being able to change the actual forum name, the previous topics were about changing the in game names. Although I might have missed it, sorry if I did.

Try logging on the main page profile and check, if changing name over there works.

I was never able to find anything relating to being able to change the actual forum name, the previous topics were about changing the in game names. Although I might have missed it, sorry if I did.

This option is not yet ready, you can't change ingame nickname now.

This has been talked about before and is starting to get on my tits. As it just said name so I put my real one in as it didn't say Nick name or game name. I know people that flat out will not play MP as they put a full name. I wish this was a lot higher up the list but it seems like it will be one of the last things to be changed

How to change forum name:

3. Choose Edit my Profile

4. In your profile settings choose Account (top left)

5. Login into your account.

6. Change your Username

7. Update

This unfortunately doesnt change the forum name, just the name on your account. You can test it out, replace the current name you have with anything, and it wont change your forum name.
