P-38 Cowl/Engine Exhaust Flaps

I noticed that unlike any all of the other planes that you can manually operate cowl/engine exhaust flaps when you open and close them there is no text notification of what percent they have opened/closed.  You can only tell if external views are turned on and you can visually see if and how far you have opened them.
