All my USB ports are being used…

Hey guys, I use a gaming laptop, and currently I have 3 USB ports.  One is being used for joystick, one for VR and one for pedals.

I would love to get simshaker, but I’m worried it won’t handle a usb splitter with any of the above.

Anybody know if this is feasible before I drop the cash?

thanks in advance,

Does a simshaker actually use a USB port?  I know buttkickers don't.

To be clear, Simshaker is software that sends motion/vibration info to either a dedicated vibration seat (JetSeat, Gametrix, Realteus) directly via USB or motion/vibration to a secondary USB sound card and through that as an audio stream that can be used by any amplifier and directed to speakers (Buttkicker for example).  The dedicated seats are independently powered so USB only for data and a USB sound card doesn't draw any real power so you should be able to gang together another USB hub to you existing hub.  The Buttkicker also has its own power source.  That said, it is a really good idea to purchase a powered USB hub (the more powered USB ports the better and get USB 3.0+).  My understanding is that you can theoretically gang together something like 70+ USB ports, although I wouldn't.

The seats have become super rare as Gametrix and Realteus are out of business and Andre is the sole supplier of JetSeats.  Unfortunately Andre lives in Volgograd, Russia.  'nuff said.  Buttkicker has just come out with several new lines of shakers, but having both, the Simshaker software shines with a dedicated seat.  Not knocking the Buttkicker though.  Heck I've got one plus four more vibration pucks attached to my rudders, throttle and joystick mounts.  Shakin' all over.....
