navigation with Sopwith Camel

Newbie in Flyifng Circus. Trying to find out targets by navigation but can`t find a gyro into the cockpit...maybe it didn´t exist at that time...Navigation on view only? Please thanks for help.

Isn't there a compass, like, front and center of the panel?

There is always a compass. Sometimes it's over the wing.
