Hopefully Steuart Walton will be a good caretaker of the assets. Never new such a collection existed. Looks like I missed a chance to visit when I was at Everett in 2013 :(. It has/had a Mozzy to boot. ?

I hope the new owner will let us see the 262 with real Jumo 004's fly, it was ready when Paul Alan passed and was due for a flight test at Moses Lake. Also, last time I visited the museum the Stuka had progressed substantially. That would be worth the plane ticket to see that fly! I would appreciate anyone that has more info will post it here and keep this thread alive so we don't miss any opportunities to see these.

Wish I had known.  I would have bought a couple.  After all, they're collector planes.  Can't cost more than $30 each.  Less if you wait for a sale.

It was the most impressive collection I have ever seen, and there were many visits there over the years.  Hope the new owner keeps up Paul's work.

...and now for some good news...looks like the Walton heir is going to keep the collection where it's at, AND reopen the museum!
