I think career mode is due with the final release.

Don't think there's been a date set, but it's expected some time in the summer I believe.

They need to finish the map before they can make the career. The map was hoped for in Q1 or Q2 -  now expected in Q2... so I'd expect the campaign sometime in the fall.

But all aircraft are already out and we're just waiting for the new map and the campaigns!

Another fortnight should crack it...

Hey guys, sorry for the dumb question but with the current set of available planes, what is the estimated date span of the career mode? E.g. Late 1917 till end of war, or early 1917 till end of war...

My guess is that career starts in june. Albatros DV started to appear in front during may and that is the earliest German fighter in this game for now. Off topic but this game definetly needs a true kill lists and with that i mean victory number, plane type, pilot and so on. Also pilot avatar would be great, pilot model with earned medals and so. Red Baron from 1990 had pilot with medals, how hard would it be to make modern version of that?? Sim side of this game is great, immersion side not that much.

My only desire would be to have ALL the airfields in their proper locations….

Actually the Spad VII Early version would be the oldest so far... August/September 1916.

Have you experienced the AI planes in this game?

Any news on the FC2 developments and when? Normandy seems to take all the wind out of it's sails.

Probably yeah. If not sooner. Otherwise we wait.

It is a bit vague on the matter of Career mode for the Flying Circus series, being the replacement for the ROF series. Eagerly waiting for the career mode...if there ever is planned for the Flying Circus series.

Career mode will be part of Vol 2 when it is fully released, along with an additional portion of the Western Front. I believe its supposed to be Verdun. The planes for Vol 2 have been released, while the map, career mode, and photo recon and artillery spotting is still being built. Vol 3 was announced alongside Vol2, and will also include additional planes (specific planes not yet announced, but probably more 1917 planes) and an additional portion of the Western Front to finish up everything except the Channel.
