This is definitely the gun with the 50 caliber length. As far as I know the Churchill Mk. IV, sent to the Soviet Union, were all with this gun.

Maybe not on equal terms, but the gun is not bad. I guess It will fire as fast as the Panzer III.

According to this it can pen the flat side up to a range of about 1350 m, so the Tiger's invulnerability zone will be pushed further out than what we have currently.

The gun has no problems at all dealing with 80mm plates, so combined with the high fire rate and good armor it will give the Pz. III and Pz. IV a very hard time.

Yes we're definitely getting the longer barrel.

 

These two photos illustrate the lengths clearly for anyone not familiar with the difference

 

Now we must hope we get access to all the different ammunitions the 6-pounder was armed with on the Western front.

Is it me or textures look really "flat" comparing to Dev blog 300 pictures ?

Look at the padded cockpit roof for exemple.

Is this because of the WIP status ?
