Why the CCCP Missile?

Just before selecting Multiplayer and when in the "hanger" with your latest aircraft selection, there was a CCCP missile in plain view in front of the aircraft. Anyone know why? I certainly hope it was not a political statement by any developers.

We do the same thing for the moon la ding with a USA rocket. This is a non issue and has nothing to do with todays world.
