33. Aircraft lists in the Mission Editor are sorted correctly (alphabetically)

6. Additional optimization of the landscape rendering system reduced the potential stutters while moving on the map;

 

Can you elaborate this a little please? Are these the stuters we've been report in recent months with a few colleagues when on a map over time and looking at an specific area, the FPS totally drops to an unplayable limit?

Nice to see you make some tweaking. I'm not sure yet, but after few minutes of testing the strange glow over horizon during sunny day has gone.  Need more tests. 

 

EDIT: nope, still the same :(

But why such a great team can't address so simple and so important bug as wrong rendering nav lights (too visible from a distant) for sooooo long time? You even fix it once but reverted this to buggy again ?

Just answered my own question .After a quick update download there I was at 1500 feet over Arras!

Thanks devs for all these visual improvements and loading times. All are welcome. Now that bomb jerk is fixed, as you improve also the effects, if you could just have the craters stay when bombs explode and not just leave the last 4 ones visible. It should not be so complicated to do and during a carpet bombing believe me it is an excellent visual effect too. Thanks again for your dedication and work.

Is it worth it to change to "will switch off lights but, sometimes panic and forget?"

Anyone having an issue with rendering in VR after the last update?

 

I run WMR with a HP Reverb G2.

 

Everything was fine before the update, now it seems the left eye render is not correct. It has a "fishbowl" effect. When I move my head, the left eye scene moves along with my head while the right eye view is fine. It is unplayable.

 

I have tried resetting the graphics settings with no success.

 

Other games are rendering fine, so it is something in IL2.

Thank you all so much for yet another magnificent Il-2 GB update. 

The speed of loading of the map is now really incredible!

Because you don’t understand the nature of the issue. We have to modify 50+ models. It has nothing to do with effects. Takes time and resources I need to stay on schedule.

Any time there is a “simple” issue that remains unfixed, it’s probably best to just assume that the issue is not nearly as simple as you think it is.

I hadn't expected this update so soon. Nice to see one of the necessary "bugfix" updates; not so much new content in this one (although the Tripe sure is nice!), but there's definitely some QoL in here!

I really love all the effort on the improvement of the details in the cockpits, gauges, placards, screws... OCD? well... perhaps  ?
