dino_soars Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 33. Aircraft lists in the Mission Editor are sorted correctly (alphabetically) This probably makes me happier than it should. Thanks! 1 2 2

Alonzo Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 YES!!!! A massive thank-you for this. Seems like a little thing but it's very very helpful. Thank you!
J99_Sizzlorr Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Thanks for the update! With the release of the Triplane we can finally dive into 1917 scenarios! 3 1 1
Ribbon Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 (edited) Any news on BoN map, is it still on track for Q2 release (mid, late Q2)? Thnx! Edited April 19, 2022 by =VARP=Ribbon
BMA_FlyingShark Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Too bad I have no time before the weekend to properly check things out. But thank you for your hard work. Have a nice day. 1
CSW_Hot_Dog Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 6. Additional optimization of the landscape rendering system reduced the potential stutters while moving on the map; Can you elaborate this a little please? Are these the stuters we've been report in recent months with a few colleagues when on a map over time and looking at an specific area, the FPS totally drops to an unplayable limit? 1 3
Alexmarine Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 17. AI pilots will switch off their navigation lights when engaged by the enemy during the landing Nice 2 1
DD_Arthur Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Hey, this is unexpectedly early! Thanks very much? 2 1
Gora_ Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 (edited) Nice to see you make some tweaking. I'm not sure yet, but after few minutes of testing the strange glow over horizon during sunny day has gone. Need more tests. EDIT: nope, still the same 2 hours ago, Alexmarine said: 17. AI pilots will switch off their navigation lights when engaged by the enemy during the landing Nice But why such a great team can't address so simple and so important bug as wrong rendering nav lights (too visible from a distant) for sooooo long time? You even fix it once but reverted this to buggy again ? Edited April 19, 2022 by =LG/F=Gora_ 1 1 1
Blitzen Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 (edited) Is this available today or in the pipeline for release through Steam at some later date?? Just answered my own question .After a quick update download there I was at 1500 feet over Arras! Thanks guys! Edited April 19, 2022 by Blitzen second thoughts

AtomicP Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 An unexpected, but welcome update. Thank you dev team.
IckyATLAS Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Thanks devs for all these visual improvements and loading times. All are welcome. Now that bomb jerk is fixed, as you improve also the effects, if you could just have the craters stay when bombs explode and not just leave the last 4 ones visible. It should not be so complicated to do and during a carpet bombing believe me it is an excellent visual effect too. Thanks again for your dedication and work.

69th_Mobile_BBQ Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 17. AI pilots will switch off their navigation lights when engaged by the enemy during the landing. Is it worth it to change to "will switch off lights but, sometimes panic and forget?"
352nd_Tazman Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Anyone having an issue with rendering in VR after the last update? I run WMR with a HP Reverb G2. Everything was fine before the update, now it seems the left eye render is not correct. It has a "fishbowl" effect. When I move my head, the left eye scene moves along with my head while the right eye view is fine. It is unplayable. I have tried resetting the graphics settings with no success. Other games are rendering fine, so it is something in IL2. Cheers! Tazman
simfan2015 Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Thank you all so much for yet another magnificent Il-2 GB update. The speed of loading of the map is now really incredible! Oyster Kai has also been quite busy, thanks.
Gedm Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 A pleasant surprise and a big thank you to the team!

Takes time and resources I need to stay on schedule. Jason 2 2 5
pilotpierre Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Mercury bow coops monsewers Le developers for your continuous upgrades. One cannot help but be impressed.

Any time there is a “simple” issue that remains unfixed, it’s probably best to just assume that the issue is not nearly as simple as you think it is. 3 1 10
AEthelraedUnraed Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 I hadn't expected this update so soon. Nice to see one of the necessary "bugfix" updates; not so much new content in this one (although the Tripe sure is nice!), but there's definitely some QoL in here!
LF_Mark_Krieger Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 (edited) I really love all the effort on the improvement of the details in the cockpits, gauges, placards, screws... OCD? well... perhaps ? Edited April 19, 2022 by LF_Mark_Krieger
