BBAS_Tiki_Joe Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Hi guys, I've been looking forward to doing some single player action in flying circus with the Gotha through PWCG, and the EMG. I've been testing it out and had been warned not to expect much but tried it any way. I spent hours testing the other day and the A.I. is almost completely incapable of flying the Gotha. In formation flight, any slight change in direction causes half the whole squadron to fall out of the sky. They run into each-other often, and cannot land. Even with a small 2 Gotha formation, the A.I. just radomly turns and spins to a fiery death. The Gotha A.I. cannot hold a formation, the ones that don't fall out of the sky, get scattered and dispersed all over the place making it impossible to make a bombing run. The only way I could get this to work was by setting up a mission that started in the air, had a perfectly straight flight path/bombing run run path that made no turns. Any deviation from a straight line results in disaster. The Gotha is one of my fav. aircraft of all time and sadly the MP experience is limited currently. I know that SP has not been implemented officially in the game for FC besides the quick missions, but even in just messing around with the Gotha in quick missions the AI is unable to fly this awesome plane. The Gotha is beautifully modeled! Just wish I could use it. I don't know if the Paige has similar issues but will do some testing and will get back with you. I just wanted to get this out there in hopes that we could get a closer look at this issue, as flying in a big formation in the Gotha was one of the main reasons I purchased FC.
