APO Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Hello, I've been working on a single player campaign for the second part of the Battle of France, corresponding to what the Wechmacht called "Fall Rot (case red)". In this campaign, you fly a D520 from June 6th to June 18th when the last British troops evacuate France. The campaign follows historical events, meaning the different events match the historical ones, but is fictional as regards the day to day operations of your group. You find yourself constantly changing airfields due to the German advance, and under heavy pressure from the Luftwaffe. There is some randomness in most missions, so sometimes the opposition will be stronger... or weaker... or the enemy won't come from the same direction if you try again. Missions include start up sequence as well as taxi to takeoff, but the auto pilot takes care of it for you if you can't be bothered. Installation instructions: Unzip the file FallRot.zip into CLODInstallationDirectory/mission/campaign/custom The custom folder should now contain two files: FallRot.ini and a Folder with the missions This is my first campaign, so I hope there won't be to many bugs, and you'll enjoy it. Have fun! FallRot.zip 5 6 1
343KKT_Kintaro Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 First of all: THANK YOU APO. 23 hours ago, APO said: The custom folder should now contain two files: FallRot.ini and a Folder with the missions Not exactly. Following your instructions this creates a folder named "FallRot" that is inside the "custom" folder. In this "FallRot" folder there are the "FallRot.ini" file and, again, another fodler named "FallRot". That latter contains the missions.
Bf109Ace Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Hi APO Thanks for the campaign. Flew it and enjoyed it tremendously! Installed as instructed and had no problems at all. ( I am a computer dummy! ) Took the liberty of extracting the .MIS files and doing a little bit of modding in FMB to the campaign. Mostly moving ground equipment around to prevent a/c ground collisions. Also re wrote the campaign from the German point of view ( as I mostly fly the 109 ) but without the scripting. Thanks again...... keep 'em coming!!!
