I was thinking about getting the "ButtKicker Gamer Plus", Is anyone using these, if so what's your impression of them? Thanks

ButtKicker is massively over-priced for what you get. For less money you can get two better transducers that run perfectly well off a cheaper amp.

It is priced as a premium product and you can put a similar setup together as a DIY, but for ease of use specially if you want to mount it to a standard office chair it does as advertised. I started with a DIY pit and a set of Clark transducers and an amp. I added a gamtrix Jetseat and then the Buttkicker to my NLR V3 Motion and all works together nicely using both the NLR software and Simshaker. So I would say its a good product and a good buy if you can save on it on sale.

I have 4 of the gamer2's. Have had them running for 12 years with no issues. Solid built product.

Did any of you have trouble getting it to work with IL-2? I spent 30 minutes on the phone today with their tech dept and it still isn’t working in IL-2. I got the Buttkicker Plus, it works in the test mode, also works on a YouTube music video, but doesn’t work in the sim. The tech support guy and I got it all setup with windows, he thinks it might be some setting in the game folder.

Are you using sound out cable splitter or is the new BKPlus USB? (If software driven you probably need to edit your cfg file - similar to SimShaker software)

The Buttkicker Plus, gives the option of cables or USB, I'm using usb. I will get the Simshaker Wings app and see if that helps, the Buttkicker comes with it's own haptic software, but it's more for the racing sims.

Thank you very much for the links SCG_Tzigy, I'll report back if wings fix the problem.

You have to use the SimShaker Wings software and modify the cfg file in order for it to work in IL2.

Thank you DragonDaddy, I'm going to let Buttkicker Tech support know.

I use mine using audio mirrored to the jack on my computer. The audio gives it vibrations (rpm, guns etc.).
