Meta cancels F8 - again

In other news, Meta has once again cancelled the F8 conference for 2022.

Reason given:

"will not hold F8 in 2022 while we gear up on new initiatives that are all tailored towards the next chapter of the internet, and the next chapter of our company too: building the metaverse"

Good on you Meta, you lost me as a customer some time ago. With that Facebook requirement nonsense, which btw you stated later on it would go away early this year. Which has not happened.
