Enceladus828 Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 I really enjoyed the Sikorsky S-16 and the S-22 in Rise of Flight and I'm curious if there's any plans to make a WW1 Eastern front module like what we got in Ilya Muromets just with more planes and another map. Since getting WoFF BH&H II, I've been having lots of fun with it and even like it more than RoF with the only times I come back to RoF when I want to fly the float and seaplanes, the Handley Page and a few others. One thing really missing from RoF is the WW1 Eastern Front and I'm hoping that there will be one! 4
Pahec97 Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Nothing is announced for this year, so maybe later
Tigre91 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 last FC2 plane is coming soon, and they are working phase 2 map and SP career (and maybe missions) so they will announce FC3 this year (IMO) maybe another front if players buy these expansions.
Avimimus Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 There are more than enough other aircraft for FC-3, so the Sikorsky S-22 and S-16 could easily be delayed until FC4 (assuming it happens - and it hasn't been announced).\ IMHO, FC4 will have a couple of aircraft slots open (assuming 10 aircraft per volume) and it might make sense to model an early war two-seater (Caudron G.4, B.e.2d, Morane-Saulnier L, LVG C.II or B-series for the Germans) with those slots to give a target which is slow enough for the early war fighters. Additionally, they could add another mid-war aircraft (F.E.2d, F.E.8, Moraine AI etc.) or even a late-war aircraft (which might make sense to appeal to all audiences). What would make the most sense would be to release these two aircraft as expansions to an Isonzo/Adriatic Italian FC5... lots of well documented and interesting aircraft, and it would also give these aircraft some Austro-Hungarian opponents to fight! It is that Austria-Hungary connection between Italy and Eastern Europe in WWI which gives an incentive to do both a few Russian and Italian aircraft around the same time. 3
ST_Catchov Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 The eastern front .... and/or the middle east campaign would be great future modules. But I think it's far more important to fix the well documented bugs first. No point in bringing them along for the ride .... 2
=J18=Eck Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Short read around this front: From Bucharest to the Baltic German Air Operations on the Eastern Front, 1916-1917. https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/Portals/10/ASPJ/journals/Chronicles/dinardo.pdf 1 1

I wonder what the DM for the flying carpet will be like in the Middle East campaign. 1
J2_Trupobaw Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 I don't see the Ukrainian map making a comback in some time .

One bullet and the thing'll do a snap rollup and trap the pilot. Not good. Especially if it hasn't been vacuumed. 2
