MS Sidewinder no FFB

Bought my Sidewinder before the first release of IL2 and have used it since then without issues in all Flight sims and continue to do except for now in IL2.

In fact it was working fine in IL2 until my Thrustmaster TPR pedals arrived and I installed them. Have not been able to fly in IL2 since then despite many efforts,

as soon as I log into IL2 my Sidewinder goes limp. IL2 would actually dump me back into desktop just screwing around in the settings. I seem to have resolved

that by re-installing it. I have uninstalled the virus Thrustmaster software that has broken my FFB, unplugged the pedals but still no more FFB. I am now two days

into trying to resolve this. That this problem has everything to do with the Thrustmaster TPR pedals I am convinced of. The Sidewinder is working, just not in IL2.

Comments and suggestions welcome as this is driving me slightly bonkers.

Sorted. Had to remove some traces of the Thrustmaster software in registry.

Running the pedals as a generic game controller, all works now.

The issue seems to have been that the pedals caused a conflict with my joystick by integrating themselves with it.
