IL-2 doesn't currently offer a collector map for sale, but if they did, what maps would you like to see first offered for sale (regardless of current available planeset)?

Murmansk...

Southern Caucuses would be nice.

I mean I have no use for it, but as long as we're talking about DCL collector maps that don't impact potential PTO development.

It would be pretty.

Alas, we lack the aircraft for a lot of these things (e.g. Madrid). If they had even two or three collector planes and a couple of AI - my votes would be different.

Similarly "Kiel, Hamburg & Bremen" is mainly of interest to me because of the He-162.

Honestly, I've been pining for the fjords since EF-2000, and Murmansk was lovely in the original Il-2. Both would make sense with the current plane-sets.

It is hard to separate modules from aircraft though! I honestly would hope for a '45 East scenario followed by a Leningrad scenario (as it could be used to fill in a lot of remaining gaps in other plane-sets)! Doing it in that order allows most of the '44-'45 types to be already modelled, meaning that Leningrad can focus on filling in gaps from 1941-1944.

Another cool possibility would be to rework Rhineland as part of making a Battle of France map (as there would be some overlap)...

As for WWI: Definitely the Adriatic and the Channel map would be my two priorities... an Adriatic theatre would be wonderful (the Alps, floatplane fighters. Mediterranean waters, even the Oeffag G as a counterpart to the Felixstowe)!

I don’t get the idea „regardless of current planeset“ - the only thing that would make a map interesting to me is the possibility to fly the current planes in interesting new areas/careers…

So Baltics, Balkan or Alps come to my mind.

I‘d be even be happy with additional  1941-43 versions of the upcoming Normandy map and careers starting with ‚leaning into france‘

For anything that doesn’t offer immersive gameplay with the current planeset a full blown module would be more sensible.
