TrackIR, 1080ti.  This was flying an A5 without outer wing cannons.  I had been flying around long enough that my fuel state was probably around 50%.

I like how you were able to pull nearly vertical and hang there for more than 15 seconds with enough authority over your control surfaces to aim precisely, all the while ignoring the "your speed is too low!" warning. Experten-ly done!

Speed was getting pretty low by the time he started falling away.  I was about to drop flaps to keep the nose up but that's why I tried to keep my speed up and not immediately try to pull him into my gunsight after he broke off his attack.  If the P-47 had kept his nose low and speed up he would have been a much harder target to hit and would have had a higher chance of surviving my counterattack.
