Crash after click play

I have just purchased Il2 BoS and BoB and installed. Upon clicking Play button, icon appear for a second on taskbar then dissappear and the game does not launch. I have tried an extensive number of solutions on forums to no success. Geforce experience i did uninstall, updated drivers, deleted updates folder, running as administrator, running compatibility for windows 7 and for windows 8. Nothing works. No error message is given in any form as the game does not run even for 2 seconds. Very dissappointing first impression to modern il2 : (

 

Computer specifications as follow:
- Intel I5 7400K

- 16gb ddr4 1300
- EVGA RTX 2070
- installed upon m.2 ssd

- windows 10

I have a similar problem! The game will not start (I use the IL2.exe in the /bin/game folder) with the same result as you! I have a steam copy too that behaves the same way. The only thing that works for me is going through the steam app and start the game from there! I´ve been using a support team (for another application) to help me figure out what´s wrong but they haven´t found the culprit yet but they are working on it. If they find a solution I will share it on the forum. The problem, by the way, started after a Win update in january this year, and an upgrade of my PC, so I don´t think it´s an IL2 problem but something with the os itself in combination with specific hardware.

i do not find what is cause this issue, but i did fully uninstall and install once more il2 and this did cause it fonction correctly, i did be sure to 'run as administrator' il2 installer and set administrator running in compatability options for il2 launcher and game .exe's
