So I'm toiling away at the office today itching to get home for the latest update and pondering ways to improve the use of the buttons on my joystick. Now, and I don't know why it took so long, I thought "Could you use keyboard modifiers in conjunction with the stick buttons?". So after getting the latest update I go into settings, weapons controls, and I set "fire all guns" to joystick button zero (trigger), I go to bombs and set it to Lshft-joy b0, and then the rockets Lctrl-joy b0...and lo and behold it worked! Now this is probably old news to a lot of folks, I just never saw it mentioned anywhere and just assumed that the buttons were hard-coded somehow. I fly right-handed w/my left-hand on or near the keyboard, really easy to hit shft or ctrl and pull the trigger. Now, with four buttons on the joystick, the HAT switch, and twelve buttons on the base of the stick the possibilities are crazy. So it does prove that an old dog can learn a new trick. Now this was just a test, I normally have bombs on joy b1 and rockets on joy b2 and will probably leave them alone but it does open up some possibilities for setting other controls. Like I said, probably old news for most but just in case I'm not alone. Happy flying!

I already use this, trigger and button 1/2 plus a modifier for secondary weapons (bombs, rockets) - thus avoid the possibility of "lost" the bombs before reach the target. And these secondary weapons are used only for seconds in each flight.
