Can't get Open Track to work with FSX-Steam any more

I hope someone can help.  I bought a set up from Grass Monkey Simulations which worked well until fairly recently.  It consisted of the headset and a modified camera and guidance in setting it up.  

However I now have problems and GMS haven't responded to my queries.

At start Open Track has a choice of various connections one of which is FSX and I have previously used that without problems.  Now I get an error message saying "problem with protocol - need to install FSX-Prepar3d Simconnect SDK".   As this is Steam I don't have that option.  Clicking the hammer next to 'FSX' I am told to chose the correct protocol setting and for Steam this is SP1.  Tried that and the other options none of which work and I still get the original message.

The Grass Monkey site shows the version of Open Track is 2022.1.1.5 which doesn't seem to match what I would download if I was setting this up from scratch.

Any help will be much appreciated.
