The Dr1 would have to be my favorite plane. Logged  quite a few flying hours.

Mine, too. My favorite dogfight has always been the Camel versus the Triplane; one of the more "fair and even" tests of flying skill ROF and FC provide.

 

I stopped flying from July 2021 to January 2022 because my computer died and it took a while to get the new one.  Now, I'm running a fairly hot CPU and GPU, but it seems like the F1 and Dr1 were changed in my absence.  I don't want to possibly bias your answer to the following question, so I won't yet say what i think those changes were.

 

But what do you think?  Do the Triplane and Camel still fly the same for you now as they always did?

Quick question(s) for the op if I may.

 

Do you apply any nose down adjustment to your joystick and where do you aim without the sight? I always find it’s just above the point at which the wires intersect?

I've only flown the Camel a few times so I can't really say if there's much difference. I think it may be a bit faster at least compared with the Dr1. Mostly I use the add on iron sight. In RoF you could aim using the cross wires, but that doesn't work in FC. Haven't use any adjustments.
