vangel Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Eye tracking is the path to true foveated rendering which leads to better performance. I'm sure IL-2 wants to be the first major Flight sim which could claim full Varjo Aero VR support inclusive eye tracking? ? 1

I'm sure they *want* to be. I'm also sure the Devs are already short on manpower. I'm equally sure that the Varjo HMDs are quite expensive and that those who can afford one can also afford a good GPU and are therefore least affected by the better performance Foveated eye tracking would bring. Hence I don't think Varjo eye tracking support would - or should - be on the Devs priority list.
