IckyATLAS Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 I want to address one of the many improvements that would be very useful for the mission building community which includes the devs creating campaigns is to have a Waterexplosion effect like we have a Groundexplosion effect. This means a watery so white color explosion in water, similar in size. Even better two sizes like Waterexplosion_small and Waterexplosion_big would be fantastic and we could use it in all the water covered map parts like sea, rivers and lakes. As Jason told us he had a person in the team improving the effects that would really be a big PLUS also with the upcoming Battle of Normandy In one of my campaigns mission I have multiple destroyers pounding landing shores. I can simulate a shore pounding on the ground with the ground explosion effects. I have a complete system that allows to simulate this by creating a very realistic randomized effects with fires and everything. But I lack the watery explosion spray and this it is not complete as some shells should land in the sea near the ships and barges. The second "easy improvement" is related to the soldiers. We do have soldiers connected to objects like caponiers, nets etc. It would be nice if we could have an object that is the same identical soldiers but as a standalone dynamic object. He would wander around as he does already but and we could place them where we want and create thus a little more activity than needing to place large structure objects to have just one or two of them.
