Chilli_40 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Is there a way to display your SRS radio overlay in your VR cockpit? Thx 1
kissTheSky Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 I don’t use it but there’s a dedicated SRS sub forum, perhaps you’d have more responses there https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/forum/147-srs-radio/ there’s also the red box server thread, which uses SRS extensively. Folks on that thread might be your best bet. 1 1

I have a feeling that somewhere I have read that you cannot see the overlay in VR. In Combat Box they only really use two channels so I just tune one channel on the first radio and the other channel on the second radio before starting the game and have two buttons configured to choose which radio I want to broadcast on. kissTheSky Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Ha! Yeah, I knew there was a “combat” a “red” and a “box” somewhere in the name ? Im not much for multiplayer, does it show? ?

Thx If you use oculus you can pin it in VR directly from the oculus desktop app, otherwise you'd have to use Desktop+ in SteamVR - both of these methods might have a slight frametime increase penalty. Alternatively you have to settle for the text-to-speech functionality SRS provides. Edited March 25, 2022 by Firdimigdi 1

Voyager Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 For Steam VR, I believe you could also use OVR Toolkit to show desktop windows in VR. Ive tried it a couple do times in the past, but haven't tried to do anything with it in a long time, so not up to speed on the details.
